Q. What are the most common jobs you do for your clients?

A. Whatever the client needs done. Our objective is a happy client. If we cannot do the work we suggest alternative sources if known. Our daily routine is solving repair problems, one at a time.

Q. What information do you recommend customers have ready when contacting you?

A. Cell phone pictures of the problem that can be sent via text message or email attachment. A picture is worth a thousand words. If it has a make, model and serial number then we want a pic of the manufacturer's product identification label. If you know what you want, tell or show us an example, saves lots of time and gets best results.

Q. What makes you stand out from other contractors in your area?

A. All work performed by in-house competent trade and craft specialists. No foreign labor utilized. Our staff look good, smell good and are walking encyclopedias of repair knowledge.

Q. Describe three recent jobs where you made your clients really happy

A. 1) Installed garage door side, top and bottom weatherseals totally stopping wind incursion and heat/cooling loss.
2) Installed crazy ant excluders in all brickweeps, client no longer needed weekly pesticide treatments saving thousands of dollars and avoiding further contamination of occupied space with poison.
3) Fixed prior contractors defective painting. Client wanted perfection and that is what we delivered.

Q. What are the most rewarding aspects of being a local contractor?

A. Meeting hundreds of very nice people whom call again and again for more services. We try hard to accommodate all requests if feasible to do.

Q. Can you give advice to homeowners on how to find the best contractor for their project?

A. Using sites like www.ehardhat.com allow the homeowner and business owner to compare and contact many providers. Nothing replaces onsite inspection of the task and a detailed estimate. Our estimates are guaranteed within 10% of final bill unless a significant condition discovered during work not otherwise discernible before work started. We deliver fair pricing for quality work. Our price structure is based upon risk to our staff performing the work, our public risk of liability and the depth of expertise required to successfully complete the project in a quality manner in full code compliance. Our lowest rates go with lowest technical skills required, conversely our highest rates go with highest technical skills required together with risks such as elevation, high voltage, high pressure, proximity to power lines, proximity to traffic and any work required to be performed while children are nearby.
