We had our roof re-done by Amer-x in 2006 and were and still well pleased. Last week we had a leak with water dripping from a ceiling light fixture in the kitchen. I looked at the area where the drips were coming in from our attic and saw discoloration on a 2 x 6 holding up the roof. I called Amer - x and owner Bill Jeshke returned my call last Friday morning saying he will be at our be noon. He arrived at 11 am and went on the roof to take a look then he went into the attic and crawled to the area in question. He said the area was damp and then he again went on the roof with a tool and a cartridge of black sealer. He gently lifted the shingles and discovered a nail had worked its way up and putting a small hole in the tarpaper and the water coming down the 2 X6. He placed the sealer on and around the area for the nail. He came down and I wanted to pay him for his effort, He refused and did say he wanted to buy a fly that I will make for him. I asked him the colors and he said he is color blind, then he selected blue and orange for the rod thread wraps. Very happy home owners. Jerry & Mary Hutchins
