I hired Rod Baum, Rod Baum Custom Homes LLC, to build a deck. I paid him for materials upfront so that he could get a contractors discount, approximately $4K, but 5 months later I still have no deck to show for it. He agreed to refund my money, but has failed to give me a complete refund. He won't return my phone calls or text messages. I've won a small claims civil suit judgment against him, but still waiting for payment. I feel like Rod Baum is completely un-trust worthy and has swindled my money. I would never refer anybody to him. Be very cautious people.
