Q. What are the most common jobs you do for your clients?

A. We are a custom home building company. We build new residential homes and have drafting services as well and access to interior designers.

Q. What information do you recommend customers have ready when contacting you?

A. We always are there to help our clients find exactly what they are looking for. We recommend that they have at least an idea of where they want to live and what size home they are looking to build. Often we help our clients find the lot and plan of their dreams. Once we know where the home is to be built and we have a plan in place, we can start the bidding process.

Q. What makes you stand out from other contractors in your area?

A. Our workmanship speaks for itself. In the last three years alone Celtic has been voted on by the NW Arkansas public in Citiscapes magazine, AY magazine, and in At Home in Arkansas magazine, winning the 2012, 2011 and 2010 Builder of the Year and 2012 and 2011 Top Ten Builder in the State. In the 2011 Parade of Homes "Peoples Choice" awards Celtic swept the competition taking home all 5 catagories. Celtic was also featured on the cover of Building Arkansas Magazine, Builder/Architect Magazine, and Vertical Magazine. We go the extra mile to make our homes stand out both in style and energy efficiency.

Q. What are the most rewarding aspects of being a local contractor?

A. I moved to NW Arkansas back in 93'-94' and met my wife shortly after on a blind date. We have made NWA our home and are raising three children here and love it! I've been so blessed with Celtic Construction and the wonderful clients we've worked with over the years. It just goes to show that when you treat folks right, don't cut corners, and communicate you all come out winners! I'm humbled by the continued support I receive from past clients with referrals. Thank you all for allowing me to build your dream homes!

Q. Can you give advice to homeowners on how to find the best contractor for their project?

A. Do your research, so many builders have gone bankrupt only to start up again, or had liens filed against them and now no longer have terms with suppliers and sub-contractors. Ask questions, make sure your builder has 30 day terms with suppliers, references, insurance, and is a member of accredited groups like the BBB and HBA. If they don't have 30 day terms or aren't members ask why not after all this is your home, your project and your money! Check to make sure the builder's license is current with the State and that he or she has both liability and workers comp. insurance. Ask if they use a foreman and if so how often is the Builder on site, your not paying for the B team, you always want the A team!
