If you hire Nathanial, be assured that during the first season after the work is done, significant problems will probably start to popping up. He has no idea what he's doing, uses only the lowest quality materials & minimum wage labor, does not supervise or supply his workers with adequate tools or materials, and has no problem making promises to EVERYONE involved (subs included)-- that he will NOT keep. He's far too greedy to use professionals, so expect SIGNIFICANT house damages. But don't expect to get any compensation later (to repair them) -- suddenly he'll have "no assets" and is 'so broke (he) has to live with his mother' (he's in his high 50's). Expect that if you want to discuss any concerns, they will not heard--drowned out by endless excuses and demands to "TRUST him," and 'not to worry' crap. You should also know that he lies about his licensing; any he lists are very likely expired and UNDER-REGISTERED for the work-- which will disqualify you from any Guaranty funds at a later date. Note that he claims to do everything from electrical work' & 'custom houses' to 'tile work' and 'house inspections'. Can you be an expert in all these fields? Could one person hold licenses for this many trades? Because if he's not legal, neither will your permit be. You should also understand that he will rarely come to the job site and there is a good chance he will abandon the job before it's completed (even if you've paid him). And most important of all, he very likely has NOT insured his workers (thou he states that he does in his contract)-- which makes YOU, the homeowner, liable for any injuries to his (unskilled) workers-- not him! Searches have turned up at least 4 past court actions against him and the worst contractor reviews I've ever read. BEWARE!!!!!!
