I agree 100% with everything Carson Homeowner wrote. I also used Cooks Windows and Door's who referred me to A to Z to install a fire proof door. Gaspar came and did the measurements and didn't ask me to schedule an install. When I went pick up the door from Cooks it was a standard stock door which is 3 feet wide but my door needed to be 32.5 inches. I called and left a message for Gasper and A to Z Carpentary to come and install the door but never got a response. Ray at Cooks informed me that those guys will not turn in the correct measurements from the 'free estimate' if you don't schedule the install with them at that time. Very shady business practices to say the least. I returned the door and hardware, paid the 20% restocking fee and consider myself lucky I am not doing business with either of these companies.

A to Z Carpentry is a rip-off company. The owner does not practice good customer service; in fact, his crew will not show up on time, or call to advise they are running late. They arrived at our residence without the proper tools, and had to return to the store to obtain the required parts to complete the work. This company is a sub-contractor for Cook's Window & Doors that should never be allowed to handle any type of installation or service. I regret even doing business with either of these companies. The owner of A to Z Carpentry is Alexandro Rodriguez and he is completely unreliable and untrustworthy. Getting the initial appointment to obtain measurements was difficult. A to Z Carpentry was supposed to install a set of double fiberglass doors. The crew took 10 hours within one day to install the doors in Sep. 2015. Unfortunately they installed the door improperly, and we were unable to get this vendor to return to effect repairs. After several unanswered, numerous phone calls, texts, and cancelled appointments, we gave up. We also enlisted the aid of Cook's Window and Doors to no avail. We now have to engage another vendor to complete the work, and pay additional fees to get the job done properly. DON’T USE THIS COMPANY unless we want to be frustrated beyond belief, and ripped off! If I could give them no stars that would still be too much. We will be contacting the Better Bureau to file a complaint against A to Z Carpentry.
