This is my submission to the BBB regarding Victor Ramos and V&E Construction: Mr. Victor Ramos of V&E Construction gave me a price to repair stucco on a front wall and mailbox, as well as to patch some stucco cracks on my house. He competed the work and I paid him in full in March 2015. In April 2015 some of his work began to crack and peel. I called and he ensured he would return to fix it, but nothing happened for a month. I called twice more about a month apart and he again committed to return and fix the work, but nothing. The last month on the fourth, fifth, and sixth attempted contact he has not answered my phone calls, voicemails, and texts. In my voicemail two days ago (seventh attempted contact) I gave him 24 hours to return my message or I would submit a formal complain to the BBB and share on the internet my experience with him. I have heard nothing from him. I know he is fine because he had a helper on the job (Ambrosio Gonzales, phone: xxx-xxx-xxxx) who said Victor was offering him more work just the day prior. I have asked Ambrosio twice in the last several weeks to assist in discussions with Victor or to come fix the work himself, but nothing has materialized from two separate discussions with him. In talks with a contractor friend who saw the work, apparently Victor did not prepare the areas well enough with sanding prior to placing the new stucco, and that is the reason for the cracking and peeling of the new work. Stucco apparently only adheres to stone and does not stick to old paint.
