As a member of the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA), we are held to a strict ethical standard (PDCA.org) and we are also a Christian company. We provide interior and exterior services to residential and commercial customers. Our focus is quality and excellent customer service. We offer a FREE 30 day touch up - if you scuff paint moving furniture or having carpet installed, notice something we missed (we are only human) or other unintentional damage, we will fix it for free. We offer written labor warranties, which are transferable, for a minimum of five years. We also conduct a walk through with each client to ensure you are satisfied with the project.

Q. What are the most common jobs you do for your clients?

A. Our most common project is residential repaints. We do both interior and exterior, and a few things set us apart. We belong to trade organizations such as the PDCA (Painting and Decorating Contractors of America,NAPW (National Association of Professional Women)and others. We start with a very comprehensive prep process.
Interior - We sand each wall to be painted, tape baseboards, remove door hardware when we paint doors, and cover flooring and furniture. We are more that happy to move furniture and wall coverings - all we ask is to remove valuable antiques, nick nacks from cases and shelves, etc. We then patch and nail holes, cracks, etc., and sand those areas again. We then caulk any areas necessary. After all of that, we begin painting with premium paint from suppliers such as Sherwin Williams or Glidden.
Exterior - We wash the structure, allow it to dry, and remove loose or peeling paint by hand. We then prime areas of bare wood, caulk areas that need it with the appropriate exterior premium caulk, and paint. All sidewalks, driveways and plants will be covered prior to painting.

Q. What information do you recommend customers have ready when contacting you?

A. Name, Address and Phone number. We do not give quotes over the phone. We must do an on-site estimate to ensure accuracy. This is free locally, but we do charge a $25.00 fee for non-local estimates. This fee is deducted from the project amount when we are awarded the bid and do the work, so it winds up being free.
Have an idea of what you want. That is our first question - what is it you want this project to accomplish. What are you concerns, and what do you expect from A1? We then discuss what we expect from the customer, how we can set them at ease, and such. We are more than happy to conult with you about colors, textures, sheen, etc.

We go beyond with our free 30 day touch up, written warranty and a walk through with each customer to ensure their satisfaction.
