Please do not use this company under ANY circumstances. This company has caused us to pay double the cost of what we purchased due to incorrect installation. We have two quotes from reputable, certified AC HVAC Companies, who has documented that (1) the AC Unit was not installed properly (which has caused water damage to our ceilings), and (2) The AC Unit needed to have been inspected by the City Inspector. We used Pierce's HVAC Company in January 2014 to purchase an AC unit and to have the unit professionally installed to be ready for use for the summer months. The least of my frustrations were that Mr. Pierce tracked dirty residue throughout my home due to the winter season (snow and precipitation) without removing his shoes or cleaning behind himself. Black stains in addition to insulation from my attic was strolled down the hallway of my home. After providing a deposit of $2,000 cash (this company accepts cash only) on the AC Unit, everything was a nightmare and a hardship to me and my family. Mr. Pierce stated that he had to pickup the AC Unit in another city. It took several days before he returned with the AC Unit. Upon returning, it took several visits for him to install the unit. He was paid in full (balance) at the time of installation. He advised that it is best to wait for warmer days before filling the AC Unit with the AC fluids due to the cold weather. When the weather became warmer, I tried to contact him on NUMEROUS occasions for him to complete the job (filling the AC Unit with the fluids to run the AC). Initially he would not return my calls or texts. He finally returned my call. He returned to my home and assured me that the job was completed. When we began to use my AC Unit this summer, the condenser along with the ENTIRE installation of my AC Unit (outside and inside piping, water pan, etc.), was not installed correctly which caused a water leak from my attic and water damage to my ceiling in my 2-story home. As I stated we had 2 contractors to come to our home to complete a diagnostic of the problem. Both contractors stated that the job was done poorly and the installation was done INCORRECTLY. The only resolution was to uninstall and re-install correctly, and to have the City inspector to come to inspect to ensure that there is no carbon monoxide leak. Of course the total cost for repairs was in the thousands of dollars! That does not include the repairs that I will have to have done on my ceilings. This is the worst experience and in my opinion, company that exists. I later looked on the BBB website to discover that this company has a "F" rating where the ratings are A to F. There was a complaint made against this company within the last 12 months regarding problems with product/service. In addition it is stated that this company has failed to provide proof of a business license. Pierce is not registered with the BBB. Please do not make the same mistake that has been made.
