Do not hire Certapro! More details and plenty of pictures here http://bit.ly/2fgKo7B and here: http://bit.ly/2eGqMgt. Agreed in writing that the house needed a thorough scrape and sanding plus repairing and replacing some rotted wood siding. They finished very quickly, and it was clear they had only really prepped the front of the house. They thinned paint with water, as if for spraying, but then mostly brushed it on, resulting in poor coverage in some areas. They painted over the rotten wood instead of repairing or replacing it. We photographed everything, they finally agreed to do the repair work in the contract, but did a poor job using unprimed boards and thin paint. The paint job itself didn't last at all: paint was flaking off within days and peeling off in patches less than six months later. A year later it's cracking and peeling all over the house. Franchise owner was rude and dismissive, refused to address most of the issues. They avoid honoring their guarantee. We weren't expecting perfection but the house looks worse in some places than before Certapro painted it.
