Signed contract to paint interior ceiling, fix two stress fractures in ceiling drywall (long cracks in the paint from heating and cooling of the house) in ceiling and paint house exterior. Contractor made claims to be able to fix stress fractures. Owner has 2 man crew do all the work on house who in my opinion did not do quite enough preparation work like pressure washing well and filling imperfections with wood filler but just sprayed over old blemishes that should have been repaired. In the end, they fixed many of the complaint areas but not all. The issue with the stress fractures, Matt said I did not tell you I will fix these just said I would try and I guess it did not work and said we should hire another contractor to cut out the drywall and replace. In addition, the project took extra days and the owner did not show up on days he agreed to, even though my wife took the day off work to supervise the interior work.
