Q. What are the most common jobs you do for your clients?

A. Roofing, decks, flooring, bathroom remodels, garage door, door and window installation

Q. What information do you recommend customers have ready when contacting you?

A. Only a basic idea of what they need. I will partner with them to help them identify the project details.

Q. What makes you stand out from other contractors in your area?

A. I see myself as the customer's partner. Their unique needs are of the utmost importance to me. I will do right by every customer I serve and will stand behind my work. I've lived in this area my entire life and have built my business on my reputation.

Q. Describe three recent jobs where you made your clients really happy

A. I repaired a floor at a home in Metamora. A leaky shower door over a long period of time damaged the sub floor beyond repair. I was able to save and reuse the ceramic tile, saving the homeowner money. While I was at the home, I kept hearing the well pump kick on and off every 30 seconds. With the homeowner's permission, I found that the pressure tank was bad. She didn't realize anything was wrong. I replaced it for her, preventing the well pump from going bad as well.

Got an emergency call from a homeowner in Morton on a Sunday night a couple of weeks ago. Went right over to fix their sump pump and dry up the basement. I was there until 1:00 a.m. The customer was very grateful because nobody else would come out on a Sunday night.

Helped a home owner in Deer Creek with an emergency repair to a roof that was only five years old. The roof was not stair stepped properly and the shingles were blowing off in 2 spots, so she had leaks in both areas. She used the roofer her insurance company recommended, but later found out that the this was the first roof these installers had done.

Q. What are the most rewarding aspects of being a local contractor?

A. Working with the same customers over and over again. I want to be their partner, not just come in, do the job, and never hear from them again.

Q. Can you give advice to homeowners on how to find the best contractor for their project?

A. Do some research on the Internet, ask your friends, read reviews. Ask the contractor for references and call them. Home improvement jobs are expensive and you will have to live with the results. Put the time and effort into research.
