I took my $6000 10x14' Persian Nain in to Ali's for a routine cleaning. When I got the rug back, the colors and design that were once vibrant and clear were muddy looking and the color had run significantly into the field of the rug. That was not the worst of it. They had obviously not dried the rug properly after it was washed, so the fringe end on both sides, one in particular, had developed a severe pucker. The rug would not lay flat. The rug was returned to fix these problems, yet they had done such a poor job, that the rug was beyond repair. After several returns, the owner delivered the rug back to me and told me that the rug had the pucker problem BEFORE I had it cleaned and refused to make it right! Even his employee confessed to me that the rug had been fine before it had been washed but he could not do anything about it since he did not own the store. I recommend that ANYONE looking to buy or get service on your fine quality Oriental Rugs avoid this business and Person AT ALL COSTS! This man is disreputable and a LIAR! BEWARE!
