Do not hire him!!!Our house was painted by him 3 years ago (2012)and the house needs to be entirely painted again. The cheap paint that Richard used was not sufficient to cover well or last even 3 years. Rust from nails has bled through the paint and the stain for the ceiling of the front porch is all moldy.

DO NOT HIRE HIM! Richard made a huge mess of our house. The power washing job that he did damaged the siding of our home beyond repair. He was getting paint all over everything; screens, porches, fieldstone foundation, driveway, plants, so we asked him to use drop cloths. He began stapling plastic sheets over the windows, taking them down at the end of the day, and restapling them the next day. Now we have dozens of staples and staple holes around each window. We fired him after he dripped paint on four porch roofs and tried to cover it up with black spray paint. When we hired another painter we learned that the paint chips that Richard scattered all over our yard contained lead and we had to pay to have them all cleaned up. We were left with over $2000 in clean up costs in addition to the cost to finish the job. We couldn't recover any of the extra expense since Richard's painting license expired 9 years ago, and he won't return our calls.

Hack job at it's finest. Destroys my garden. Doesn't build well, damages 120 year old Pillar, can't get anything level or square. Doesn't sand off old cocking or paint and didn't recock. His license is no good. Not listed on Mass site.
