• 10 years agoNeil from 20/20 Home Inspection came and looked at our house before we bought it. We were very impressed by his knowledge. Once we moved into the house, however, we had the gas company come to turn on our things. (Neil had told us of a few things that needed to be fixed with the gas but nothing pressing) They pointed out a few holes in the gas that runs right under our house so they could not turn it on until it was fixed. Had we known this before we bought the house, we definitely would have had the previous owners fix it, but we had already closed. Hundreds of dollars later the problem was fixed and we were able to turn on our gas to run our hot water. We contacted Neil about this issue because the guy who turned on the gas said it was definitely something our inspector should have caught and he would not give us a refund for the trouble or anything. We were left frustrated. He is a very nice guy, but I would not recommend his service because of this issue.
