Worst experience ever. Mike is a complete slob. I even had to let him borrow my broom, dust pan, and putty knife. Left his Burger King bags, on our den floor for weeks, knowing we have dogs in the house, not that, that should matter.. Garbage bags all over the yard, one in the front bushes but, he didn't even work on the front of the house. Floor tile glue all over our wall tiles, bathroom door and hardwoods. Tiles don't even line up, with gaps everywhere and only three days later the tiles are already coming up. Glued corners of the floor tile he broke. He continually left old rusty nails, splintered wood, and cut up remnants of floor tiles on the on our back lawn where the dogs play, after leaving the job for the day, which I had to clean up, every night he was here. Even after requesting he clean up after himself, so the dogs would get hurt or sick from digesting his mess, he continued to do so. He plastered a small wall, the next morning, all of the plaster was laying on the den floor. He had to have the painters replaster it for him. It now looks like a blind person plastered our wall. He pulled two radiators, "So the painters can paint behind them" never bothered painting behind one of them, only cutting in with a brush around it, painting the walls but not the trim/woodwork. We have now been without heat (83 year old woman) for 3 weeks, so he could paint behind one radiator. He had a plasterer come in to plaster and scroll a small 4x3 ceiling. Swirls have no pattern what soever, and thickness is not uniform. Painters dripped paint all over our washer and dryer, crushed the dryer vent tube by stepping on it, painted around a lose 2x4 rather than moving it to paint the wall behind it. Water stains already coming through the paint job they did on my bedroom ceiling. Painted over cracks without filling them. Large patches of paint drips on the walls, and flashing throughout the the den. Reinstalled my blind brackets anywhere the felt like it. Some of the screws weren't even in wood. Came for a few hours a day and left on a regular bases. The last straw was when I asked requested he work in the from yard or driveway because the dogs would be have to be in the back yard and didn't want them getting into the toxic materials he continually left on the ground. He looked me square in the eyes, with an attitude, and said " I'm not moving anywhere!" Excuse me! Me: "Mike, either move your work station or leave the property." Mike: " Paul, wtf is your problem" while he bull rushed me pushed me backwards with his fat gut. I pushed him back and requested he leave the property. He refused. I actually had to call the cops and have him physically removed. Oh but there so much more, but, I think you get the gist. We are in the process of filling a complaint with the RI Contractors' Registration and Licensing Board and the BBB.
