Q. What are the most common jobs you do for your clients?

A. PGS Concrete Designs builds on both a commercial and residential level and installs decorative concrete, stamped concrete, acid stained concrete and flat work.

We install patios, pool decks, driveways, floors, walkways, any hardscape you can dream, we can install. Contact us for a free estimate.

Q. What makes you stand out from other contractors in your area?

A. I am an owner, engineer and installer. Many other companies have one person selling the service and another installing. I am onsite for all projects beginning to end. This allows me the ability to address any questions or challenges of a particular project, reducing a stop point in any project. For most of my customers, this brings a level of comfort knowing I look out for their best interest and provides the highest level of concrete installation and greatest value for their hard-earned investment.

I have personally installed over a million square feet of stamped concrete in my career.

Q. What are the most rewarding aspects of being a local contractor?

A. I am able to utilize my 30 years of concrete installation along with my engineering education as well as my artistic ability which provided a tremendous amount of expertise for your project.

Q. Can you give advice to homeowners on how to find the best contractor for their project?

A. Compare the exact type of installation to other installers. I personally use a 4000 psi mix for all my installations. I use double reinforcement which consists of #3 rebar and 6x6x8.8 welded wire mesh. Verify that they licensed and insured. Provide a certificate of insurance if signing a contract. Do not hire the contractor that will charge the least amount for your project. As a concrete installer we all purchase our materials from the same purveyors. If they are able to charge less they are likely going to cut corners on your project. Ultimately, you should choose the contractor you feel will perform the best installation for you. Afterall, this is an investment in your home or business.
