We also recently had a pool installed by Mr. Bigelow , and we are currently wondering about the integrity of the pools instalation. We have learned through the steps taken by contractors doing other work around the pool that maybe things aren't as peachy as Mr. Bigelow presented them to be. Did you purchase your pool from THE GREAT ESCAPE in Boardman Ohio.

I was told my pool would be up and installed BY Memorial Day. After hearing nothing for a few weeks, I contacted the store we purchased from. We received a call that our pool would be put up ON Memorial Day. The installers came, and although they worked hard, my yard is polluted with cigarette butts. The owner, Claire Bigelow had told me that his cousin delivers water and he would set it all up for me, and he would deliver when the pool was up. I'd never have to run my hose, I have a well. The pool was set up, and we were told that water wouldn't be delivered until the next day. I called the next day, and after waiting several hours to find out when my water would come, Mr. Bigelow called to inform me that I wouldn't have water until the next day. Mr. Bigelow also said he would come to look at my pool, because the rails on top were not installed correctly. Mr. Bigelow called back and left a message saying " I was getting your water as a courtesy. You can find your own water, I'm not getting it for you!" So,here I sit, with an empty pool, with an exposed liner that I have to worry about shrinking and becoming damaged because Mr. Bigelow failed to follow through with his word. Had I known that he would not have the water here as promised, I could have made arrangements myself to have it delivered upon set up. Mr. Bigelow is not a man of his word, and I now worry about the integrity of my pool. Plus, I should add, upon looking through the box of garbage left for me to get rid of ( I agreed to dispose of boxes, not empty plastic bottles), I found approximately 2 pounds of bolts, nuts, washers, and screws in the box. I know there are always extras, but I now question if this pool is even safe for my family to swim in.
