A. We do alot of Painting and Kitchens and Bathrooms, Several room additions
and alot of Fire Remodel

A. Before a home owner brings in a Contractor they should make a list of exactly
what there wanting to have on there estimate that way you don't start a project and oops I forgot about this and how much is that going to add
if receiving multple estimates it assures that were talking apples and apples
when comparing these estimates

Q. What makes you stand out from other contractors in your area?

A. Happy Paint and Remodeling has been in the Tulsa Area for 40 years we are not
a fly by night company that is here today and gone next week or month or year
if there is an issue,
We have remodeled and repaired every thing from installing a door to complete resturants like the KEO on 35 and peoria,with many other projects so yes I would think we stand out in our community for a Company that has weathered the times in Tulsa and Proven that we are here to stay and continue
to improve and preserve our community.

Q. Describe three recent jobs where you made your clients really happy

A. the property at 31st and winston is owned by Kay Watkins we have been repairing and modifying these buildings for years now at this time she
only calls and ask when we can do the project she knows that we will never
over charge for any project and always maintain a schedule that benefits
her and the clients as well.
I built the KEO resturant from the ground up Bill ask how long and we said complete in 60 days or less he recieved his occupancy certificate on the 57th
day opened on day 58 and has continued to expand his menu and cliental since.
As far as home owners are conerned were in over 20 homes a month to attempt
to single only one out of the mix I would'nt know where to even start but I
am sure that if you live in the tulsa area it would surprise me if you did'nt
know atleast one of the many homes we have been in.

Q. What are the most rewarding aspects of being a local contractor?

A. My customers would tell you that no matter when you call I am never more than
a few minutes to a couple hours away from attending what ever need they may have.
I know where the best deals are and pass these on to my customers and we
always try and give alittle back in extra work that requires our touch.

Q. Can you give advice to homeowners on how to find the best contractor for their project?

A. Depending on your project there is always one thing I always tell my customers, Choose the contractor you get along with and have a mutual
bond , depending on the project we are going to be around each other
a lot and make sure that specific contractor knows what he's doing there
is one thing most people in Oklahoma do not know. and that is there are
no license for General Contractors actually the only licensed trades in
Oklahoma are plumbing,electrical and heat and air so if you have any other
work performed in your home its buyer beware I specialize in disputed insurance claims on homes and advertise that way so I get a lot of people
who see my add and want me to help where some one who claimed to know what
they were doing messed up there home, So whether you choose us or any other
contractor do work on your home its a big investment there working on take
a few minutes and check them out, actually call there referances before
you sign on line and the most common mistake I see is if there price is to
cheap, stop and do the math is there a enough money to buy the material and
complete my project some will come in low and then hit you with change orders
claiming there is extra work so that deal is not so good or they just walk
off the project leaving you with a mess you paid to make.
